About Us What are our priorities? The 518 Volleyball Club was formed to fill a void in the volleyball club scene in the Capital Region. The region needed a club that
We eagerly welcome players from all schools. Our schedule will include attending several National Bid tournaments and we expect to send at least two teams to the USA Junior Olympic Boys’ Volleyball Championships in Atlanta in July. These tournaments are often the only chance boys will get to be seen by college scouts. The teams in the different age groups will all be part of one club with one consistent approach. This “one club” approach means that everyone will be taught the same mechanics, techniques and terminology. When players advance in age groups they will be challenged to perform more advanced skills, but they will not have to relearn techniques that they have already mastered. Practices We take pride in the organization and efficiency of our practices. We do our best to minimize down time and put an emphasis in running a high energy, interesting practice environment.
